The loader is of the type which can be fastened to the upper part of the firearm and in the axis of the carcass and is characterised in that this loader consists substantially of a tubular first part (3) which forms the actual magazine of the loader and in which the cartridges (5) are stored with their longitudinal axes perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the loader (2); a second part (4) comprising a transfer element (34) having on either side a respective oblong slot (32, 46) in mutual relationship via two helical ramps (41- 42) extending over an angle of 90 degrees, one of these slots (32) making the connection between said parts (3) and (4), whilst the second slot (46) makes the connection between said part (3) and the firearm (1) with which the loader (2) interacts; and means (54) making it possible to transport the cartridges (5) within the loader (2). …IMAGE…
