PURPOSE: To construct a tunnel by installing a formwork in the shape along an inner peripheral wall in natural ground and contacting it in the direction of excavation, and disassembling and transferring the formwork and pressing a jig after mortar is placed. ;CONSTITUTION: A FRP formwork 1 is assembled on natural ground of an excavation pole Ta by one periphery in peripheral direction of an inner peripheral wall Tb to form a cylindrical body Wa. After a cylindrical body Wb similar to this is fixed in axial direction and bonded via a pressing jig 2, mortar is placed between the formwork 1 and wall Tb Then, the FRP formwork 1 is set to the excavation pole Ta which is excavated newly. These processes are repeated to construct a cylindrical body W. Next, the formwork 1 and pressing jig 2 are disassembled and transferred forward. The work to change this into the inner peripheral wall Tb which constitutes the cylindrical body W is repeated to construct a tunnel T.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
