PURPOSE: To obtain high-quality moisture-permeable fabric by casting a polyester resin incorporated with fine particles of a water-soluble compound or these particles plus fine particles of a water-insoluble protein on fabric followed by curing under an electric field and then washing out the water-soluble compound to effect formation of a porous film. ;CONSTITUTION: Fabric comprised of e.g. synthetic fibers is coated with a polyester resin solution prepared by incorporation a polyester resin with fine particles of a water-soluble compound (e.g. sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, or organic carboxylic acid, organic sulfonic acid) or these particles plus fine particles of a water-insoluble protein (e.g. cross-linked gelatin), followed by curing through application of a voltage on the surface and back surface of the fabric to effect formation of a resin film. Thence, the fine particles of the water-soluble compound in the film are washed out, thus forming a porous resin penetrated onto the surface and back surface. The resulting objective fabric having this porous film is high in moisture permeability, also excellent in the prevention of moisture condensation and touch feeling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
