PURPOSE:A powerful tremor inhibitor, containing an isoxazole derivative, e.g. 1:5-(2-piperidinoethyl)amino-3-phenylisoxazole, or an acid addition salt thereof as an active constituent and scarcely affecting the ultramotivity. CONSTITUTION:A temor inhibitor containing an isoxazole derivative expressed by formula I (R is H, lower alkanoyl, benzoyl, phenylacetyl or phenylalkyl; n is an integer 2-6) or an acid addition salt thereof as an active constituent. The compound expressed by formula I (R is H or phenylalkyl) is obtained by reacting a compound expressed by formula II (X is halogen) with a compound expressed by formula III (R1 is H or phenylalkyl).
