PURPOSE:To prevent influences of soil intrusion on data by making the opening of a sheet smaller by using a small-size tension measure having a high detecting accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A measuring piece 10 is set over the opening face of a sheet 1 for the surface treatment work of soft ground, and the ends of the sheet on both edges of the opening are held and fixed between the piece 10 and a fixing plate 12. Measuring probes 14 and 15 are bonded and fixed to the center of the piece 10 and lead wires 18 are led to the probes 14 and 15 to obtain a tension measurer. The measurer can thus be miniaturized, highly accurate data can be obtained, and the cost of manufacture can also be reduced. Since the opening of the sheet can be made smaller, the intrusion of soil can be prevented, and the setting of the measurer can be simplified.
