PURPOSE: To automate payment in a computer integrated manufacturing system. ;CONSTITUTION: Purchase order for listing items purchased from a second transaction destination (supplier) 34 by the first transaction destination (order company) 24 is generated. A shipping prediction report for listing the delivered items is transmitted from the supplier to the order company before the plan delivery of the items in accordance with purchase order. The items of the shipping prediction report are compared with the ones of purchase order so as to automatically permit payment when both are equal. Thus, a demand and payment by paper are not require and the efficiency of the computer integrated manufacturing system is drastically improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
