PURPOSE: To improve the settlement around a stair and around the outer periphery of a building and facilitate the concrete construction and the welding of a column angular joint by arranging cross vertical diaphragms over the column capital-beam faying section and column base section of a concrete-filled angular steel pipe column, and partially welding the angular joint of the steel pipe column over the whole column length. ;CONSTITUTION: A pair of flange skin plates 1 are arranged in parallel, and the flange side of cross vertical diaphragms 3 is welded. Web skin plates 2 are coupled between the skin plates 1 and the cross vertical diaphragms 3, and the web side of the cross vertical diaphragms 3 is welded. An angular column is welded, and concrete 5 is filled. The cross vertical diaphragms 3 are arranged over the column capital section, column base section, and beam faying section of the concrete-filled angular steel pipe column A for reinforcement. The shearing yield strength of a column and the beam faying section is increased, and the filled concrete 5 at the column capital section and column base section area and the local buckling of the steel pipe column A can be confined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
