Devices making it possible to produce various candles burning with flames of chosen and varied colours. Extension to matches of the chemical processes characterising the compositions
The invention consists in replacing the usual paraffins or waxes and wicks in objects representing all the imagined and imaginable shapes of candles, including hand-held torches, by compressions, of varied shapes, of solid fuels + colouring salts + optional binders in an ideal proportion of, respectively: 88% (H.M.T.), 8% (salts) and 4% ammonium nitrate, in order to avoid the residues due to combustion, inter alia, or alternatively 96% H.M.T. of metaldehydes or other solid fuels and 4% salts, preferably chlorides. The principles set out above are applicable imperatively in the manufacture of matches burning with colour(s). The subject of the present invention is to propose solutions in order to give the appearance of candles or hand-held torches to various types of disposable or rechargeable containers, into which are introduced the above said fuels and the salts which are an integral part thereof, with an optional binder which facilitates the compressions, with ammonium nitrate in proportion.
