The stump (2) of a natural tooth is fitted with a crown (3) which also serves as an attachment for an additional dental prosthesis (1). The crown (3) has a semi-cylindrical surface (4) on one side to receive the curved surface (5) of the prosthesis (1). The crown has a groove (7) on one of the other sides to receive the integrally formed rib (8) of the prosthesis. On the side opposite to the groove (7) the crown has a rectangular groove (6) to receive the key (9) attached to the prosthesis (1). The key has a central tapped and countersunk hole to to receive a screw (17) with a conical head which expands the width of the key in order to clamp it in the rectangular groove (6) in the crown (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Dental prosthesis which is firstly attached to the crown of the natural tooth.
