Laser beam focusing and deflection appts. for workpiece processing, consists of a beam source and a rotor equipped with deflection mirrors which are placed successively in the beam path with rotation of the rotor. The deflection mirrors (2) are staggered in the axial and peripheral direction of the rotor (1) and their mirror surfaces (5) are in the form of cone segments arranged coaxial with the rotor axis (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides an improved laser beam focusing arrangement for workpiece processing, which enables the beam to be focussed on a line or points of a line with the required energy distribution and accuracy.
