The drain has an arrangement of pipes of differing types and diameter to form a sediment trap. The water carrying the sediment is led around the configuration such that the sediment is collected at the bottom and water flows through the top. The trap can be visually inspected and the collected sediment removed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prevents sediment clogging land drain perforations and consequent damage/ineffectiveness of the drainage system.
