The ends of the steel bearing elements (100) both facing towards and turned away from the upper girder-steel concrete plate (12) are provided with extensions which are anchored in the under girder-steel concrete plate (11). The hollow space between the upper and lower girder steel concrete plates (12,11) is formed by the steel bearer elements into a single cohesive chamber (300) or is divided into several chambers forming part hollow spaces which are sepd. from one another or are connected to each other. The extensions at the ends of the steel bearing elements take the form of widened structures, the elements themselves being of one-piece construction, or composed of at least two assemblable parts. In cross-section, they are ring-shaped, oval or multi-cornered. They can also be formed with I- or C-shaped cross-section. ADVANTAGE - A ceiling construction, partic. for rooms with an extensive span, e.g. 7 to 30 m., which is strong enough to withstand attendant stresses.
