The pressure regulating device comprises a pressure regulating valve (2) and an inlet valve (1) respectively associated with a function space (6) and a control pressure space (5). The pressure regulating valve (2) has a setting device (2b) and an evaluation device (2a) which are mechanically or electrically coupled together. A direct fluid coupling (21,9) is provided between the function space (6) and the setting device (2b), the control space (5) fluidically or electrically coupled to the evaluation device (2a). USE/ADVANTAGE - For horizontal transporting of heavy loads. Reduced energy losses and fluid usage.
