To produce tubular woven fabrics, on a circular loom, where the wefts are drawn from the bobbins to pass through the shed on a circular path formed by the circular reed, the wefts are aligned in the flattened and spread-out material from the take-off so that they are parallel to the winding beam, before the material is wound. This compensates for the different warp lengths at the take-off. The difference in the warp lengths are evened out by appropriate and different deflections applied to them while the flat tubular fabric is passed over a deflection roller. ADVANTAGE - The method prevents the wefts from following a serpentine path between the folded edges, and ensure that the wefts are all at right angles to the warps.
