The package comprises a thin baseplate (25) containing a recess (12') in which the sign is inserted front face (21) first, so that this face bears against the bottom of the recess, while its rear face is flush with the baseplate surface. Holders (32) on the baseplate keep the sign front face inside the recess. A flat backplate (35) fixed to the backplate rear face covers the flat rear face of the sign. USE/ADVANTAGE - For an advertising sign having a front face in relief and a flat rear one. Is quickly and easily fixed in position on shop window etc.
