The process consists in obtaining, on the one hand, by means of moulding, the semi-clothed figures from plaster, clay, plastic or another suitable material, the next stage being painting of the figures, whilst, on the other hand, the final supplement of their clothes is obtained from stamped and cut fabrics which are then immersed in a bath of adhesive and, duly impregnated therewith, they are placed on the painted figure and draped randomly in order to achieve a direct pseudoproduction on the actual basic body of the figure, the stamping of the fabric corresponding to the colour envisaged for this supplement to the clothing of the figure, including possible ornamental motifs. Finally, using a paintbrush or the like, a greater amount of adhesive is applied to those areas of the figure where it is desired or where greater consistency in this partial textile covering is required.
