PURPOSE:To easily determine the number of the arranging persopnnel of clerks by executing fuzzy inference based on a fuzzy rule determined in advance with plural factors to determined the number of the arranging personnel of the clerks as an input parameter. CONSTITUTION:Input parameters x1 to x4 to represent weather, the status of a sales accelarating activity, the performance of a clerk and the movement of other shops respectively are inputted from an input part 1. A fuzzy rule based on the rule of thumb is set in advance in a fuzzy inference part 2 and fuzzy inference based on the input parameters x1 to x4 is executed according to the fuzzy rule. Then, the fuzzy inference part 2 outputs the inference result of it as a defined value Y to an output part 3 and the output part 3 displays the defined value Y as the number of the arranging personnel of the clerks. Thus, the number of the arranging personnel of the clerks corresponding to the status can be determined easily and precisely.
