PURPOSE:To safely, surely and automatically inject molten iron into a ladle by controlling the tilting of a tilting spout based on the tilting angular velocity calculated from the molten iron receiving rate. CONSTITUTION:When a tilting spout 2 is switched and tilted, a tilting angle is calculated by a computing element 10 from the molten iron receiving rate 12 at the spout 2 of the molten iron transferred from a molten iron runner and the tilting angle from a tilting angle detector 9 so that the amt. of molten iron remaining in the spout 2 when tilted is kept constant. The tilting angle of the computing element 10 is outputted to an actuator 8, and the spout 2 is tilted until the indicated values of the detector 9 are leveled. The tilting angle is calculated from the molten iron receiving rate 12 and indicated. Since the amt. of molten iron remaining in the spout 2 is thus controlled, the rolling back of molten iron into the spout 2 due to tilting is minimized, the tapping of molten iron to a torpedoe ladle car is stopped, and the spout 2 is leveled.
