PURPOSE:To correctly measure hydroxyproline by injecting a sample containing hydroxyproline into a carrier liquid, oxidizing and heating it in a reaction tank, and mixing it with a coloring liquid to convert into a pigment compound. CONSTITUTION:A carrier liquid 1 is conveyed to an automatic sampler 3, and a sample is automatically injected. The carrier liquid 1 is further conveyed to a reaction tank 4, and it is oxidized and deoxidized in an oxidizing pipe 11 and a heating pipe 12. A coloring liquid 5 is mixed with the carrier liquid 1 at a mixing joint 13 in the process to a coloring pipe 7, and it is analyzed by a colorimetric determination device 8 serving as a detector. The whole device is miniaturized, the measurement time is shortened, and the sample can be continuously measured.
