The board shown comprises a substrate 1, a layer 2 with cut-outs 5 filled with magnetic inserts 3 forming a path for a toy vehicle a to follow, and a covering layer 5 hiding the path. Layer 5 may be a completed jigsaw puzzle (figure 3). Two such boards, suitably apertured for binding thread, may serve as book covers. The magnetic inserts, instead of defining a path, may define discreet areas, to which magnetic hooks may be magnetically attached through the completed puzzle, thus providing a board on which items can be hung. Alternatively, the hooks may be screwed into non-magnetic inserts. IMAGE
