The invention relates to a device for the electrodynamic separation of electrically conductive non-ferromagnetic particles consisting in forming a high frequency electromagnetic field and introducing into this field a powdery material to be separated which contains electromagnetic particles having Different values of electrical conductivity. / P P According to the invention, an electromagnetic circuit comprises a linear inductor 5 with a turn which is surrounded, at least over part of its length, with a U-shaped core 6, the inductor being disposed below the bearing surface of a means 10 for introducing the material to be separated so that the axis of the inductor 5 is parallel to the plane of the bearing surface of the means 10.
