The invention relates to a method for regulating the temperature of the atmosphere of air-conditioned premises. It is characterised in that at least prior to the use of the premises 1, in order to carry out works which: . require a given temperature, termed reference temperature T1 and, . tolerate changes in this temperature only within specified limits which moreover define an offset E termed permissible offset particularly by studying the thermal properties of the premises at least at the aforementioned reference temperature T1: - the greatest possible rate of change of the temperature V1 in the said premises is estimated under the conditions of use but in the absence of any air-conditioning and then, at least during the works; - the volume of gaseous fluid which constitutes the atmosphere in the premises is renewed at a rate V2 which is at least equal to the maximum temperature-change rate V1, this being whilst respecting the reference temperature T1. Application to the industry of plant for measurement rooms and for air conditioning. IMAGE
