An edging strip for the lower area of walls comprises a rigid support strip (1) of recycled PVC which attaches to the wall (24), on L-shaped detachable, upper cover (2) which can be rolled up and an outer detachable cover (10) both mfd. in a flexible PVC. The flexible covers (2, 10) have clamping strips (8, 11) which insert into recesses (7, 12) in the supporting strip (1) to complete assembly.
