Measuring mass of air sucked into combustion chamber of IC engine - measuring change in air mass in defined vol in defined period and subtracting from flow into induction system during that period
Measuring mass of air sucked into combustion chamber of IC engine - measuring change in air mass in defined vol in defined period and subtracting from flow into induction system during that period
A method of measuring the quantity of air sucked into the combustion chamber of an i.c. engine contains a device in the induction system measuring flow into that system. The change in the air mass in a defined vol. between the measurement device and the combustion chamber is measured during a defined suction period and is fully or partially subtracted from the air mass measured by the measurement device during the period. USE - Substantially accurate measurement of actual quantity of air sucked into combustion chamber during a defined suction period.
