This is achieved in that an estimated value @ for the next measured value of the weighing device is formed from measurement values Gi of the output signal G of the weighing device, in that the estimated value @ formed is compared with the next actual measured value Gi, and in that, when a set tolerance range is exceeded, the control of the feed intensity is continued with the unchanged actual value @ of the feed intensity. This reduces or completely eliminates the influence of interference. At the same time, changes in desired value of the measurement signal can also be taken into account.
