PURPOSE:To facilitate elevation and prevent oscillation by engaging one end of each rope with a cold box through pulleys disposed plurally on the periphery of the cold box and the other end with a winch as well as supporting the cold box by guides and guide rollers. CONSTITUTION:A cold box is formed of a fixed drum 1 and a released drum 2 fastened by bolts 3. Plural pulleys 5 are fitted at the upper end peripheris of fixed beams 4 for supporting the fixed drum 1 through pins 6, and winches 7 are fitted at the lower ends. Pulleys 5' are fitted at the released drum 2 through pins 6', and one end of each rope 8 is fixed at the pulley 5 through the pulleys 5, 5' and the other end is engaged with the winch 7. A guide rail 10 is fitted at the fixed beam 4, and guide rollers 9 engaged with the rail 10 are fitted at the released drum 2. The winch 7 can be thereby operated with small force so as to facilitate the elevation of the released drum 2, as well as oscillation generated at the elevating time is prevented by the guide rollers 9.
