System 7 for the control of a missile 1 by means of jets of gas f, having an incorporated gas 9a, 9b connected to at least a tuyere lateral 8, associated to a movable shutter controlling the flow of gas through said tuyere 8. According to the invention, this system is characterizes in that said tuyere 8 comprises an oblong cross section, the largest dimension of which is contained, of at least approximately in a plane passing through the longitudinal axis l - the said missile 1, whereas the smallest dimension of the said oblique section is directed, at least approximately, transversely to this plane.
