PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer sheet for the china-painting of ceramics generating no release by providing a printing layer of pattern ink containing glass frits and color pigment in a specific ratio on transfer base paper and providing a glass frit ink layer between said printing layer and the transfer base paper and on the printing layer. CONSTITUTION:A printing layer 3 of pattern ink containing glass frits and color pigment in a wt. ratio of 1 : 9 - 3 : 7 is provided on transfer base paper and a glass frit ink layer 2 is provided between the printing layer 3 of the pattern ink and the transfer base paper and on the printing layer of the pattern ink. The glass frit ink layer may be provided by the solid printing using ink containing a resin decomposed and volatilized by baking or burning to disappear as vehicle and having glass frits dispersed therein. By this method, china-painting wherein a fine and beautiful pattern is strongly fused to an object to be transferred can be realized.
