AGENT CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE KIND OF ORGANIC SULFINIC ACIDS AND/OR AT LEAST ONE KIND OF ORGANIC SULFINIC ACID ALKALI METAL SALTS FOR AVOIDING DARK-COLORED DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF DEPOSITING MAT COATING FROM BRIGHT NICKEL BATH OR BRIGHT NICKEL ALLOY BATH
AGENT CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE KIND OF ORGANIC SULFINIC ACIDS AND/OR AT LEAST ONE KIND OF ORGANIC SULFINIC ACID ALKALI METAL SALTS FOR AVOIDING DARK-COLORED DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF DEPOSITING MAT COATING FROM BRIGHT NICKEL BATH OR BRIGHT NICKEL ALLOY BATH
PURPOSE: To avert the dark color deposition, etc., at the time of matte coating deposition, etc., by adding agents contg. org. sulfinic acid and its slat to a bright Ni-base metal plating bath contg. an org. brightener, nonionic surface activator and foreign matter emulsified at a bath treating temp. ;CONSTITUTION: One or more kinds of the org. sulfinic acid and/or its alkaline metal salt in addition to the primary brightener, such as sulfone imide, and secondary brightener, such as alkene sulfonate, which are heretofore customarily used, are added to the bath. More particularly, benzene sulfinate and/or p-toluene sulfinate and above all, its Na salt are added thereto at a ratio lower than 100mg/l to the bath. As a result, a treatment is executed at an average cathodic current density of 0.5 to 5A/dm2 and the sufficient two-phase state of the bath is maintained by heating/cooling sub- circulation having a filter device. Even more, the dark color deposition and/or the formation of black pinholes at the time of depositing matte coating on the surface of a conductive substrate may be averted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
