Drive system e.g. for mining chain-conveyor - has at least one main drive and specified number of auxiliary drives using AC electric motors with mutually dependent regulation
The respective main drive (2) at least during the run-up phase at a rated rpm is assigned an AC regulator (8) with a rpm ramp presetting (11) and the respective auxiliary drive (5) is regulated depending on the operating position of the main drive (2) or vice versa (IMHI or IMHA). An electrically switched on auxiliary drive (5) together with the main drive is also assigned during the run-up phase at a rated rpm an AC regulator (9), the operational desired value of which is specified by the operational position of the AC regulator (8). The AC regulator (9) of the auxiliary drive, the actual value input (20) of which is connected to a measurement unit (21) for an operating variable (IMHI) of the auxiliary drive (5), and its desired value input (17) is connected with a measurement unit (18) for an operating variable (IMHA) of the main drive (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Mining industry. Technically simple, cost effective and environmentally friendly auxiliary unit for no load starting and load balance.
