Flow check, in particular as a storm-tide barrier for river mouths, having a plurality of resistance bodies flexibly anchored in the ground (1) which are preferably in the shape of a tube (9). Said bodies can either lie inactive on the bottom of the water or act as a flow check in an upright position, since they may be filled with water or with air through a conduit (5).
