Projectile for ammunition which may be shooted by a weapon of small or medium calibre and in particular by a sporting gun, the projectile consisting of a sub-calibrated bullet (4) comprising a bullet body (7) and stabilizer fins (6) and propelled by a launcher (5) at the calibre of the weapon, characterized in that the bullet-launcher connection is provided through the agency of a sheath (11) in extension of the fins, said bullet body consisting of several part (8, 9) extending lengthwise and adapted to part upon the impact after the bursting of the said sheath.
