PURPOSE:To obtain a mixing valve where the hot water side can be closed completely by reversing contact/separate relation of hot water side valve body against hot water side valve seat due to advance/back of valve shaft in axial direction from that of water side valve body against water side valve seat. CONSTITUTION:Upon setting to the highest temperature, the differential temperature between a temperature setter 30 and a thermister 46 will increase to drive a motor 43 through a control circuit 47 thus to move the valve shaft 38 to the left. Consequently water side valve body 41 will contact against against the water side valve seat 36 to separate the hot water side valve body 40 from hot water side valve seat while a flow regulating valve 42 will maintain proper flow path area in the hot water side flow path 32 to produce hot water having highest temperature.
