摘要

NEW MATERIAL:A tetrathiafulvalene derivative wherein at least one carboxyl group of a compound shown by formula l (R1 to R4 are H or carboxyl but not H at the same time) is formed into N-hydrocarbon group substituted ammonium salt). EXAMPLE:Tetrathiafulvalnoe-2,3,6,7-tetracarboxylic acid di(tetra-n- butylammonium) salt. USE:An electroconductive charge transfer complex obtainable by direct method by simple operation in a short time required, useful as an electron donor providing charge transfer complex having high electroconductivity even in a powder state and supplying a complex by reaction with an electron acceptor, preferably usable as electroconductive material of electronic parts. PREPARATION:An alkali metallic salt of a compound shown by formula I is reacted with a halogenated ammonium salt shown by formula II (X is halogen l R5 to R8 are H or OH; with the proviso that R5=R6=R7=R8 H) to give the above-mentioned novel substance.
