PURPOSE:To obtain a feed having excellent palatability, by using liquid sugar as a part of sugars. CONSTITUTION:Liquid sugar containing fructose and obtained by the enzymatic treatment of starch is used at least a part of the sugar component of a feed composition. The objective feed can be prepared by compounding powdery raw material such as wheat flour, soybean flour, fish meal, etc. with the above liquid sugar and oils or fats, liquid component such as molasses, and additives such as calcium salts, table salt, vitamins, etc., and granulating the composition. The use of the liquid sugar makes the ratio of the liquid component to 5'20%, improves the palatability, reduces the hardness of the granules, and gives granules resistant to crumbling.
