PURPOSE:To obtain the safe explosive compsn. of a high-detonation velocity by incorporating a specific ratio of a binder consisting of trimethyrolethane trinitrate, etc., and a polyurethane resin, etc., into cyclotetramethylene tetranitroamine, etc. CONSTITUTION:This explosive compsn. contains the cyclotetramethylene tetranitroamine and/or trimethylene trinitroamine which is the essential component and =1 kinds of plasticizers such as trimethyolethane trinitrate, trimethylene glycol dinitriate and diethyleneglycol dinitrate and the polyurethane resin as the binder and the content of the above-mentioned binder therein is 10 to 30wt.% of the entire part. This compsn. can be safely produced and has the explosion performance of the high-detonation velocity exceeding about 7900m/s. The compsn. is obtd. by mixing the above-mentioned components under about 10Torr pressure or below and at about 60+ or -5 deg.C and casting the mixture, then curing the molding by spending =6 days at about 60 deg.C.
