PURPOSE:To directly solve a higher order equation by convergent calculation by calculating a B-spline curve based on the linear and second order derivative vectors to satisfy a designated curvature vector and a designated passing point sequence. CONSTITUTION:A NOT vector calculating means 2 assumes a virtual passing point for the designated passing point sequence and calculates a corresponding NOT vector, and a linear/second order derivative vector calculating means 3 calculates the linear derivative vector and the second order derivative vector to satisfy the designated curvature vector. Further, a B-spline curve calculating means 4 calculates the B-spline curve based on the NOT vector obtained by the NOT vector calculating means 2, the linear derivative vector and the second order derivative vector obtained by the linear/second order derivative vector calculating means 3, and the designated passing point sequence. Thus, the higher order equation can be directly solved by the convergent calculation.
