PURPOSE:To regulate control gain so that an induction motor can obtain the secondary flux and output torque equal to the command value without regard to the control error or gain setting error in the control section by measuring the secondary flux and output torque with an adaptive observer added to the motor. CONSTITUTION:An adaptive observer 9 outputs the secondary flux 2, the estimated result of an induction motor equivalent circuit constant and the output torque T from the primary voltage V1 and current i1 of the induction machine. There, each gain is regulated at a gain operation section 8 so that each command value T* and phi2* for output torque and secondary flux may coincide to the measured values T and phi2 respectively by the adaptive observer. On that account, the control gain is automatically controlled without regard to the control error or gain setting error of a vector-control section 3 and a power converter 4.
