The plug-in foot permits the vertical assembly of model railway lights and similar components by simply plugging them into a hole (2), it being unnecessary for the axis of the hole to be perpendicular. With free-hand drilling into an assembly board, the axis of the hole is generally not perpendicular. The advantages arise as a result of rapid and simple assembly, improved appearance and the possibility of removing the components from the receiving hole when repairs are necessary. IMAGE
