The machine for cutting cephalopods, esp. frozen octopus or squid, consists of a rotor with two diametrically-opposed arms over which are situated two horizontal circular knives fixed to pulleys which are driven by V-belts from a central pulley. To obtain a precise and uniform thickness of cut rings, stops are provided vertically below the feed channels or tubes of the frozen cephalopods. The stops are fixed to the structure by a screw.
