Device for affixing a motor-driven deodoriser (6) to a toilet bowl (14), having a suction-removal nozzle (1) which is intended to rest on the upper bowl rim (17) and communicates with the deodoriser (6), the suction-removal nozzle (1) being arranged between the fastening screws (18) which serve for the pivotable mounting of the annular seat (16) on the toilet bowl (14), and being affixed by means of the said fastening screws, characterized in that the suction-removal nozzle (1) has two lateral flanges (3) through which the fastening screws (18) pass, and lateral openings (11) into which an elongate, hollow transverse supporting member (2) which can be displaced in the axial direction and, in the region of the suction-removal nozzle (1), is provided with a through opening (8), is matingly inserted, the end (13) of the transverse supporting member (11) adjacent to this through opening (8) is closed, and an attachment member (5) for accommodating the deodoriser (6) is present at the other end of the transverse supporting member (2), and the transverse supporting member (2) can be inserted into the openings (11) of the suction-removal nozzle (1) either on the right-hand or the left-hand side.
