PURPOSE:To easily introduce tension into cables by a method in which a temporary shore strut is set on the bottom tension ring of a central ring girder and a tension is introduced in a given order into cables set between the periphery of the beam and the tension ring. CONSTITUTION:A flat circular or oblong cable 3 is set between the periphery 1a of a beam 1 set in a flat circular or oblong form to form a roofing and the bottom tension ring 2a of a central flat circular or oblong ring girder 2 set on the center of the beam 1. A temporary shore strut 2b is attached to the cross point between the straight line and curved part of the ring 2a, and a tension is introduced by a given order into the cable 3. Since the bending resistance system is changed to the axial resistance system and an arching effect is produced in the ring 2a, tension can be introduced into the cable 3 without causing overmuch deforming and bending moment in the ring 2a.
