Appliance intended for gathering small fruit, and more particularly intended for gathering bilberries (blueberries), made up of an assembly of parallelepipedal shape, comprising, between two lateral cheeks c, a bottom b forming a grid, the slightly inclined front of which constitutes a rake a and at the back forms a storage box f to which access may be gained via a flap d, a handle e fixed on the top of the box in an inclined position makes it possible to hold the appliance leaving the front and the rake of the device clear. The rake is characterised by the rounded shape of the end of the teeth a made from steel wires. The spacing of the wires constituting the tooth h and the spacing between the teeth being matched to the type of fruit; for bilberries (blueberries) it may lie between 4 and 5 mm. The grid of the bottom is made from steel wires whose spacing and alignment may be identical to or different from that of the teeth. The bottom box f forming the part for storing the fruit is accessible via a movable flap d which may be manoeuvred with one of the fingers of the hand which holds the handle e of the device. The handle e is fixed to the top part of the back box in an inclined position allowing the rake part of the device to be totally cleared. IMAGE
