The invention relates to plasma physics and controlled nuclear nuclear research, and can be used to remove gaseous gases from the tokamak reactor chamber. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of removal of gaseous products. For this purpose, arcs in the tokamak chamber with the help of additional heating (HF or UHF) are lit with their ends resting on the evacuated diaphragms. The neutral gas is ionized, retained inside the arcs and pumped out at the diaphragms. The method makes it possible to enrich the pumped gas with helium. 4 il. i cl c: co wore ND SP
