The invention relates to a process for the overall recovery of uranium, yttrium, thorium and rare earths contained in an organic phase. This process is characterized in that said organic phase is brought into contact with at least one diluent chosen from the group consisting of ethers, alcohols, polyols, amides, sulfoxides and ketones, at least one precipitating agent. chosen from the group consisting of ammonia, ammonium salts and fluorides, with the exception of hydrogen fluoride, and an aqueous phase, the diluent being chosen so that a homogeneous medium is obtained with the organic phase and the aqueous phase, whereby a liquid phase and a precipitate are obtained comprising the abovementioned species which are then separated from the liquid phase. This process can in particular be applied to the recovery of these elements from a wet phosphoric acid.
