The process includes measuring the box if required and determining the desired shaping of the box format. A number of sepg. walls (2) are cut, pref. from a roll of rigid standard plastics strips. The width of the walls depends upon the height of the box. The walls are fixed in relation to one another by coupling pieces (7,10) arranged at points of intersection between the walls by clamp unions holding the walls in position. These unions afterwards permit a stageless movement of the walls in relation to each other.
