PURPOSE:To achieve the mass production of coating having antique feeling, by spraying a thinner to paint in an undried state to lightly dissolve said paint. CONSTITUTION:An object such as a metal plate to which surface treatment is applied is fed by a belt conveyor and greenish blue paint is applied to said object at first. After the finish of this painting, the feed belt of the object is inclined and a thinner is injected in a mist form before the paint is dried to coat the paint layer and dripping is generated in the paint or variable density is imparted to the surface of the paint. When this paint layer is dried, various antique feelings such that greenish blue is naturally weathered can be imparted to a new product in a mass production system.
