PURPOSE:To permit efficient and quick formation of a program for simultaneous execution of plural staining methods by computing the kinds, use period and moving treatment time of treating liquids and storing this program. CONSTITUTION:A hanging arm 5 which is freely engageably and disengageably mounted to a detaining part fixed on a grip provided on the top end of a cage 6 housing slide glasses stuck with samples to be stained is freely vertically and horizontally movably provided atop a base plate 1. Many vessels 2 in which the liquids to be used for staining and are respectively opened upward are imposed atop the base plate 1 and plural kinds of the staining methods are simultaneously executed by controlling the engagement and disengagement of the arm 5 and the grip of the cage 6 and the vertical and horizontal movements of the arm 5. The procedure for the above-mentioned execution consists in respectively substituting the kinds and use periods of the treating liquids to the codes indicating the positions of the many vessels 2 and the signals indicating the lapse time from the start of the staining operation and substituting the moving treatment time to the signal indicating the lapse time from the start of the staining operation. The dyeing methods are thus executed.
