Endless wire saw using a wire with very high strength intended for cutting rigid and abrasive materials and consisting of one and only one wire which is neither welded nor spliced and is produced according to a method which consists in continuously juxtaposing a wire 1 made of steel or other materials of very small 10/10 section in the form of a ring, and then still continuously, in winding the rest of this same wire around the rings 1. The whole thing is put to use by a machine composed of a structure in which there are two drums 2 and 3 receiving the wire 1 and a support 4 in which is inserted a crown 5 which is rotationally driven and includes a device allowing the turn to be formed and the wire saw to be made. The machine also makes it possible to produce a composite wire, the characteristics of which will be modified by multiplying the number of coils of the device fixed in the crown. IMAGE
