The solenoid valve comprises a movable plunger (1) capable of closing a pipe (5) by means of a seat (7) under the effect of magnetic attraction produced by means of a winding (2). The plunger (1) slides on a stud (18) which, together with a membrane (21), delimits a chamber (7) communicating with the pipe (5) via a restricted passage (10). The membrane (21) is mounted floatingly in a groove (15) and makes it possible effectively to damp out the water hammer when the pipe (5) is closed. This membrane (7) communicates with the outlet (23) via a leakage passage (22). IMAGE
